Schools in South Africa and have a long and successful history of producing top rugby players. They are all members of the South African Schools Rugby Union (SASRU), which is the governing body for schoolboy rugby in South Africa.
The SASRU organizes a number of competitions for schoolboy rugby teams, including the Under-18 Craven Week, the Under-16 Grant Khomo Week, and the Under-15 Coca-Cola Schools Week. These competitions are fiercely contested, and they provide an opportunity for young players to showcase their talent and earn selection for provincial and national teams.
The schools on this list have all produced a number of Springboks, including François Pienaar, Joost van der Westhuizen, and Percy Montgomerie. They are all considered to be among the best rugby schools in South Africa, and they continue to produce top players year after year.
